Hey friends! Thanks for stopping by. I am always trying to find interesting new ways to DIY my home decor. So, I was able to craft up this convenient, Unique Changeable Metal Hoop Wreath for 2020 Fall Season. I am absolutely in love and you will be also. Not only is it easy but you can change it from one season to the next. Yes, as in swap out the flowers so they match your home decor as the seasons change. How convenient and such a money saver! So let’s get started.
Supplies:
- Metal hoop
- Variety of wire faux flowers
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue
- For a complete supply list shopping cart visit: https://amomandherblog.com/craft-project-shopping-lists/
Directions:
- Take a metal hoop and hot glue the long/thin faux flowers to the bottom of the hoop going up the left and right sides. In this scenario it would be the purple petals. Choose a color that is interchangeable between all seasons. This will be the only permanently placed faux flowers/leaves.
Apply the hot glue to:
1A.Places on the hoop that are/ or will be covered by flowers/leaves
2B. The back side of the hoop so the hot glue is not visible.
2. Take the largest round flowers (in this scenario the 3 orange flowers) and cut them off the main bunch leaving about two inches of wire stem coming from the flower.
3.Wrap the stem around the base of the bottom of the hoop. Repeat this step for all the flowers you want placed in your wreath.
4.Once you have the flowers all looped around the metal hoop you can then cut and place the eucalyptus faux stems into these hoops that were created by the flower stems ( no hot glue needed).
5. Since no hot glue was used on the flowers they are interchangeable and you can switch them out according to any style or season. Just untwist them from the hoop and twist new flowers on! Easy changeable wreath for any season! Here is how mine turned out:
And that’s all you have to do to make your own Unique Changeable Metal Hoop Wreath for 2020. Let me know in the comments what you think about this money saving DIY wreath.
All the Love,
Lindsay
