Baskets in the home are usually used for storage – pretty simple. However, where you use them and how can really make your space more useful and convenient for everyday living all while adding a decorative touch to your space.

Your Entryway

• Use them in your entryway to keep it looking organized and tidy. The entryway is one of the highest traffic areas of the home. Keeping things like extra shoes, umbrellas, bags, totes, gloves, hats, etc stored in these baskets not only keeps them out of sight but also makes them readily available for you to use.

Living Room and Fireplace

• Use them around your fireplace and couch. There is nothing cozier then having a basket filled with blankets ready for you to snuggle up with readily available, but neatly displayed in a basket near the fireplace or the living room couch.

The Guest Room

• Utilize them in the guest room. No need to worry about guests needing extra pillows or blankets if they are readily available and neatly displayed in a basket in the guest room. Again, not only will the basket serve it’s purpose but it will also add a cozy vibe to your guest room. It’s a win, win!

• Kitchen Counters – use tray baskets to help clear the clutter and keep it to a minimum. You can also use some wire baskets (wire only because it can get greasy up there) on top of your cabinets if you have that extra empty space between your kitchen cabinets and ceiling.

• Use some in your bathroom on the shelves, counters and drawers. Baskets in your bathroom can help you keep them organized and give a warm homey feel to your bathroom decor.
