I am so pleased you have stumbled upon my blog site. I’m Lindsay and I created this blog for a few reasons. Mainly, to share my creativity with those moms who may need help with creating a welcoming decorative space and also different ways to have quality time with your children while doing so. I am a single mom of a six-year-old girl and two dogs (Romeo and Gryffin).

Life as a single mom can be very hectic and sometimes you feel like you have no time for anything. Although maintaining a blog adds more to my plate, I hope it will also make me more conscious with what I do with my time. I am hopeful I will spend more meaningful quality time with my daughter creating homemeade happiness, baking, and making memories, while sharing with all of you!
I have always been creative in life with drawing and decorating. I have recently started doing these things again and I am so happy I did! Having a creative outlet is my happy place. I live in a farmhouse and love to decorate and re-decorate for different seasons of the year. My daughter has also caught the creative bug and wants to help mommy all the time. She also wants to start decorating her own space in her room. So, as this blog grows over the months I will be posting DIY projects (both for kids and adults), home décor ideas, and cute seasonal baking ideas! Blogging is completely foreign to me, but I am learning as I go. Once I figure out all this blogging business, I hope to be able to also share my art with you all! I hope to start posting every other week until I get the hang of managing a blog. Eventually I hope to start posting on a weekly basis.
