Where is Haleigh Cummings?
Am I the only one frustrated by the lack of updates in the case of missing 5 year old Haleigh Cummings? It’s driving me nuts. I keep clicking from site to site, thinking that surely someone will have SOMETHING new, and it’s just not there. Half the sites (ones that were wonderful about updating on Caylee Anthony, I might add) still have yesterday’s story. I finally found a small update on Fox News, which contained links to OLD stories on MyFoxOrlando and MyFoxTampaBay. Grrrr. With a bit more clicking, I finally found a local site that appears to be updating, altho there is no video available to post.
The real question is, where is Haleigh? The story I found really provides no new information, other than to say that the “items of interest” found yesterday turned out to be nothing. I’ll post the story below, I’m also going to go find the Amber Alert flier and post that. If you have a blog or MySpace, please repost. Let’s get this little girl’s face out there. SOMEONE has to know something. And please, continue to pray for Haleigh and her family.

‘Items of Interest’ Found to be Insignificant to Disappearance of Haleigh
SATSUMA, FL — Chief Rick Ryan with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said that the items of interest found Friday have been analyzed by the FDLE crime lab and found to be insignificant in the disappearance of 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings.
In a 4 p.m. news conference Ryan did not release new information about the disappearance only about future plans for an extended search.
SEARCH FOR HALEIGH: EXPANDED COVERAGE
Sunday’s plan is to search other locations in Putnam County. In addition, all dive searches along the shoreline of the St. Johns River will be suspended for the day.
Ryan said that they will continue water and air searches along the shore-line.
The sheriff’s office said that no additional volunteers are needed for the search and that the operation did not “require a thousand people.”
Investigators still say that everyone is a person of interest in the case and they will continue to interview family and will interview friends of the family soon.
Ryan noted that the family has been very cooperative and that Victim Advocates from Putnam County and across the state are working with the family.
Investigators also said that no information has been received that would warrant them to look into areas outside of the state.
by the way….Ron’s mother is strange too. Why is she so protective of Misty?
Befor i go back and read everyones posts today, i thought i’d see if anyone else had heard this. i just got from another blogger at Blogger news network that Chad ( ALLEGED party house host)was arrested on narcotics posession and distribution. IF this news is correct some interesting news will be let out this week guaranteed. Hes a 47 yr. old scumbag from the booking picture i saw on the posted link. . This is only heresay that this is the guy they have in custody but if so, could change the whole outlook on the case.
Yeah MB, you’re right, it is strange they got married only 2 months after she disappeared. SUPPOSSEDLy they said it was haleighs wish and asked them all the time to get married. But even still couldnt they wait unti lafter they had searched for a while longer. they seemed as if they knew she was dead and their hope was already faded. yeah it is stange !Ron shoul.ve paid for an investigator before a tatoo ,no doubt ,but they’re backwoods hicks so who knows how they think.
Did everyone see Polly Klaas dad get irate on Nancy Grace show the other day. he thought TEx Equusearch messed up by sending in a fake informant. I thinbk he might be right and nothing will be admissable now from TES. On the other hand Put. Cou. Sh. Off. was’t doing much anyway !What do you guys and gals think?

Josh..I know the marriage was supposedly “Haleigh’s wish”..but personally, I don’t believe Haleigh ever said it nor would it matter if this girl was “just missing!” For someone to even use the term, “Haleigh’s Wish” sure makes it sound as if she is no longer with us! Just my own personal speculation, as we all may have our theories.
No, I didn’t see Mark Klaas on NG, so I can’t say. I WOULD love to hear from the Sheriff’s Office on the content of that letter and if they are working on any leads.
Yes – I saw Polly Klaas’ dad get mad on NG. I had a feeling that whoever Misty was hanging around with was duping her and trying to get her to talk or whatever. Misty may be simple – but I don’t think she is that stupid to tell some middle aged lady she just met – who was with the Tim Miller folks – that she did something or knows something!
I am wondering if Law Enforcement in that area are as “simple-minded” as the Croslin-Cummings Clan??? There seems to be too many areas that may or may not have been investigated – OR – they are just not revealing what they DO know – so that these low-lifes can cross themselves up eventually and get a good solid conviction – but the problem is….there is still no little girl! Whatever happened to the folks in Massachusetts that they interviewed? Why are all these convicted felons running around with guns??? Why are little kids sleeping in the same room with their parents – what happens when they are having sex?? That house looked bigger than a one bedroom – is that the only bedroom?
Misty is a product of her environment. She has no morals, values, or respect and lacks a conscience. This is very common when you grow up in dysfunctional, druggie/alcoholic families. She is probably a fetal-alcohol baby herself along with being uneducated – so hence the “learning disabilities” she allegedly has.
By the way – in the video of Misty and Ron’s “wedding” – is the guy on crutches her biological father? Wonder why we don’t hear more from him? AND – notice on almost all video of these two – including their WEDDING – they act like they are not very close – only on that one where they are walking and smoking he has his arm around her – in the green jacket. What’s up with that?
Everyone on this blog has posted such relevant and profound theories about this case which by now has become such a wicked labyrinth of speculations on the part of the players and puppeteers both that an objective overview is illfated. The only way – in my opinion – that would bring this case to a rightful end and solve the mysteries is to apply “do or die” m e d i e v a l interrogation tactics. Having spent years on end in the legal profession, it is without a doubt that all “loophole” tactics available INSTEAD will be applied here to get the predators OFF or get them by “mildly” .. this is an outrage as bad as it is abortion: children who are not able to speak on their behalf concerning their own lives and fates … the blindfold on the face of justice is there and will remain for the benefit of all wrongdoers – one only thinkg of Casey Anthony, Scott Peterson and OJ Simpson to mention a few ….. God bless you Haleigh wherever you are now – and even though eartjly justice will not render proper punishment due those deserving of it, the Judge of Judges will impose the ultimate sentence when there is NO escape ..

I’ve been using the Putnam County Property Appraisal GIS Mapping tool and found out some relevant onformation on this guy Chad who was arrested last night. The house is right down the street from the L-pond they drained in the Mondex subdivision. If the party did happen there and she od’d then this area of ponds is very important. I just think they have the wrong pond . I am seeing two ponds that look like the’re about 500 yards down the street and easliy accessible from the road On East Satsuma and Stokes Landing Rd.

keenriches ~ I agree with you wholeheartedly – I was actually just thinking the same thing – “waterboard” these creeps and get the damn story. That is the problem these days – there are so many ways we have become “soft” on people – why? Whether this girl is still alive or not – this is a BIG crime. Kidnapping or murder OR both. They seem to be forgetting that – while they are all wrapped up in all the drama in Cuzzinville. They need to quit playing pussyfoot with these scumbags and find out who took that little girl and where she is! Disgusting how we have to worry about hurting a bunch of criminals feelings over the life of an innocent child. Makes me sick.

You have a tip to report? Do you know something about this case that we don’t know??? I sure hope that she isn’t or didn’t suffer. At first I thought Ron was innocent, now not so sure! I think he knows something whether he had anything to do with it or not. I’m quite sure that Misty knows exactly what happened.

Somer’s story is so sad. I can’t comprehend what is going on. How will this family ever get over this? Just like the little girl who was killed by her Sunday School teacher. My heart goes out to these people.
They say the first place LE looks when a child is missing is the local dump. I am assuming they looked all through it for Haleigh? It is overwhelming to keep hearing about these poor children that are killed. In Haleigh’s case, it is not an outsider. I can’t figure out why they haven’t put more pressure on Misty and Ron. They certainly know more than we are hearing.

Putting “pressure” on Ron and Misty is not an option for that very reason, and it is the same with Casey Anthony who is behind bars accused of killing her own child ! Yea bee , being a former landsape architect i noticed an area on Google Earth that coincided with the “supposed” well in the Modex development from that SAM letter and notified them of my reasons for thinking they had the wrong location. They ended up searching a pond rather than a well and I gave a description of the area I thought contained a possible underground well from the overview I had been searching on. Probably won’t pan out but you never know and I figure 5 minutes of my time typing an e-mail to find her , even if wasted ,is better than not saying anything ,just in case I’d be right.
There doesn’t seem to be much going on with this case – unless they are just keeping tight lips? What about Misty being robbed at an alleged drug buy the other day? I thought they said that someone robbed her because she owed them money – hmmmmm maybe she did before too….so they snatched the kid??
Whatever Misty is hiding, her conscience will NOT enable her to remain silent forever – even it takes a very long time ! While she is bent on dodging an earthly Judge, that says SOMETHING ! However: the Judge of Judges is NOT ONE she can not escape. Jesus’ coming is near and we will see IF her name will be called to join him in the air or not ! I think so too. I think they have more to the story than they are letting out. Can someone be arrested for Trying to buy drugs even though she didn’t Score. Seems like that was their opportunity to bring her in and demand the final answers they need.
Tim Miller isn’t the only one who thinks poor Haleigh is dead. I heard the search has stopped. I cannot understand why she can’t be found..what did they do with this poor baby? Still waiting to hear the contents of the letter. Such depressing news when kids come up dead or missing. It’s beyond heartbreaking. It’s beyond my comprehension.
Recently on a new case where the little girl was found in the dump, I recall them saying that if they hadn’t found her so soon they may have never found her. My guess is that that is where she would be found. The dogs didn’t hit on the dumpster early on for no reason! I hope that I am proved wrong & she is alive & well sonmeday soon, but I don’t believe that will happen.
Like all of you .this is all so sad to me! I don’t understand why they can’t break this case. I hope they dont let it go cold. Someone knows something. I agree with who ever mentioned the dumpster..I think she was in it..it was dumped and that’s why the dog hit on it..prayers are always with her!

Isn’t there ONE – if ever so SLIM chance that Misty DID remove her from Ron’s slippery hands (!) and had her made off way up north and for that reason she is not talking ? … I only give up hope when hope is gone ….

As far as Haleigh being in Massachusetts?? I don’t know if I believe that, personally. We all know that anything is possible, but I think that story was a decoy…just like the marriage, tattoos, etc…. Hey, for all we know, Misty’s brother did take her, but not alive. Nothing can be ruled out, but I don’t believe this poor child ever left her neighborhood alive.

I can’t bear to think out thoughts of what they have done to her that caused her death …. I am ragingly furious to even remotely IMAGINE how anyone, anyone at all could/would torture/kill a defenseless little child … it is UNimaginable – totally ! My own daughter as a child looked much like Haleigh does, blonde curls, blue eyes and babyteeth and a smile to match ;) – I was a single mother and my daughter didnt always have the best babysitters in her childhood while I had to work …. Keen.. I would LOVE for this child to be alive. None of us can say for sure, but all I am saying is that it points otherwise; mainly because of the actions of Ron and Misty and their very weird REaction to the situation….Hope is great to have and miracles do happen..I AM a firm believer that “it’s not over til it’s over” in most situations….but, this one unfortunately leaves me not so sure.
I do think the Grandma is trying to keep positive..the alternative is too much to bear.

Yes, she might just be pacifying herself falsely with it but … one’s Faith is in one’s heart and each of us has their own “measure of faith” according to the bible ! Zirndorf is in picturesque Bavaria approx. 150 miles northwest of Stuttgart (the nearest large city to my hometown), never been there but am geographically familiar with it …. I hope you liked Zirndorf, were you stationed there in the military and during what time period ?
Back to Haleigh yes …. there is a saying that goes “no news is good news” … but I only agree with that theory to a point because it splits itself at some point and thus takes on 2 different things as far as I am concerned. Why ??? are there no updates whatsoever on NG’s show on how much p r o g r e s s is made on the search for her … is ba search STILL GOING ON ? We are NOT hearing a single shred of updating … not a syllable … why is that so ? Has the search for Haleigh been ceased altogether and is being kept hush hush ??? And if so .. why ? For what reasons ? Is NG’s team running up dead end streets in attempting to find out what might be “guarded” information that cannot/will not be “revealed” to the public ??? Why ? has the amount of reward money been cut in half – does it connect with “no search results” somehow ????? The sceptic in me is working overtime and I DO NOT LIKE this “nothing is new with Haleigh” stuff at A L L !!!!! Linking up all of these facts is keeping my hope pilotlight going that Haleigh might still be somewhere – SAFE and alive – where Misty sent her off to – away from the abusive hands and mad temper of Ron …
On what facts are you are basing your “the child died in the trailer” theory … MB ? Short of putting a gunshot in her point blank .. I cannot wrap my mind around what might have happened to cause her death … then again .. I am in some kind of “denial” – odd as it may be – which feeds the theory that Haleigh was “moved” to safety …. isn’t it possible ????? Hi again…Keen..I do not necessarily know if Haleigh died in the trailer..I simply think she didn’t leave the neighborhood alive. Wasn’t there something about a trash bin that dogs hit but LE came up with nothing later? (If anyone remembers this, please say)… Something evil happened, so it appears. I certianly WANT to remain hopeful, but let’s say she’s alive….Where is she? Who has her? How is she surviving with her medical conditions? Early on, LE stated that they were confident some “intruder” didn’t have her. There was no evidence to suggest some stranger had taken her…That leaves me with this mindset…

Misty ‘arranged’ for Haleigh to be – lets say “rescued” … and a by Misty pre-selected party took Haleigh, Misty who may not at all appear to be smart enough to set up something like that, but: desperate people do desperate things and Misty might well have operated on the merits of that a n d in vengeance against Ron to “get” him a n d so might have enlisted the right kind of “help” to get this job done ! With this scenario perhaps having taken place: Misty of course IS aware of Haleigh’s medical needs and whoever was “selected” to take her and has her now, is taking care of these medical needs of Haleigh’s to keep her alright medically. Ok so .. this may sound all wayyyyyyy out of left field – but I reiterate that it is SIMPLY a theory I am exploring and strictly based on slim hopes that Haleigh might still be be ALIVE someplace .. its the HOPEFULLNESS I have going on … you see ….
Y o u r scenario: “”Haleigh did not leave the neiborhood alive and something about a dumpster and a scent a dog picked up and LE missed this whole thing altogether” … IF Haleigh’s body has been disposed of somewhere in the neigborhood, there is LITTLE or NO explicable reason why it should not have been discovered by now ?
Another scenario: Haleigh died / was killed in the trailer, Misty panics (she was not at the trailer when her brother showed up according to his testimony – a s s u m i n g ! – it is at all credible ! what if it isn’t ?) and was party to disposing of Haleigh’s body .. but where did they dispose of it ???? Dogs lose their scent with water .. so has Haleigh possibly found a watery grave somewhere not far from – or ! – FAR ENOUGH from the community to remain UNfound ? In that case, it would appear plausible that Haleigh’s body w a s taken to a body of water and “disposed” of there never to be found. If the “watery grave” theory has any meat on the bone – that would be a reason for LE to cease search efforts – would it not ? I have NOT HEARD any newsclips of divers searching bodies of water in the area, including the ocean ? NG is not reporting about it, and there are NO other updates forthcoming, so: for all intense and purposes: NOTHING constructive we know of is being done to find Haleigh and/or her body and …. Misty ….. Misty has taken off and is running around here and there, makes TV appearances, has been gagged from breathing word one, is being dumped by redneck Ronnie boy ( her ONLY blessing in this whole mess !) and is acting like this is all “over” ???? Alfred Hitchock could not have written a better mystery as this one is ! Isn’t that so ?

I hear ya MB – I do !!! … Nuremberg = Nürnberg :) yes I am somewhat familiar with that city because I met my “Military Jerk” at Schweinfurt’s Ledward Barracks (not too far from Nürnberg) and with him eventually made my way to the US many years ago and have been in the States eversince, became a naturalized US citizen during the Reagan Admin. – dearly dearly beloved Pres. Ok so I wanna know why there hasn’t been anything on tv regarding Haleigh. I truly believe Misty knows what happened to her and they need to keep the spotlight on all these idiots til they find out what happened to Haleigh! There was an earlier discussion of a possible sighting of Haleigh at a Wal-Mart in Mass. When Misty’s brother was taken to court for the restraining order he said let her have it I don’t want anything more to do with her (Misty). I am moving to Mass. so let her have it. Coincidence???? I think not. Now my ? is who the hell do they know in Mass??? Are the police watching the family? And I mean all the family! Or are they just going to let this case go cold!!! Please get the heat back on and let’s find Haleigh. May Good Bless Haleigh!!

Well, I guess I can be added to the many confused and upset viewers of the Nancy Grace show… I understand that there are many stories of countless victims who havent the ability to have their stories heard. I applaud Nancy Grace and all that she does for the victims and their families. Every once in a while I will be drawn into some of the stories and watch religiously praying that having just one more set of eyes on the lookout will help to bring home these precious babies. I know that not all stories can be covered continuously but, I have Haleigh Cummings and her safe return on my mind continuously. I can’t help but to be hopeful that she is alive and well that someone just thought she was such an amazing little girl and maybe kidnapped her but have been keeping her healthy??? At least if that could be true her daddy, mom and little brother and family maybe will see the sunshine in her beautiful hair once again. I hope that their will be updates on her health and wellbeing soon.
I beleive the most recent update I’ve heard about this little girl. Does anyone but me think that Misty Croslin looks high every time we see her on tv.? I think the girl took the children to a party. I think she was doing some things that little Haleigh saw and would tell Ronald about. I think that Misty gave her something to make her go to sleep and it backfired and the child died. And in a panic, to a 17 year old uneducated child she didn’t know what to do because she and those around her were high too, she panicked and disposed of the childs body or someone did it for her. Then she took the baby home and acted like she had been asleep when Ronald came home. This all dosen’t add up to me! They had less on Casey, arested her. I say lock her up. Give her a fiew weeks to sit and stew and get sober, and I bet she will spill the beans. What a shame! We hear of so many children disappearing in Florida we refuse to take our family vacationing there. God bless to Haleig’s father, mother, and grandmother. To those who hurt this child you will meet your fate soon enough, and noone should forgive you for taking the life of anyone, let alone an helpless child!
This is my honest opinion, Hank Jr said he went to the trailer that night and found they weren’t home. I do not believe him. I believe that Hank Jr and Misty did something to that little girl.
Don’t know if I believe Hank Jr, but I also don’t believe Ron or Misty. One or all of them know where this little girl is & what happened to her. Maybe with them in jail facing serious time because of the drug charges, they may break their silence. I was beginning to wonder if authorities had just given up on this case…was glad to hear of their arrests, now maybe they will get the info they need.
I would really like to know why the pond that the cadaver dogs went to wasn’t drug or emptied. The dogs not only went to the dumpsters but they went to the pond more than once. The child’S shirt or blanket was found not far away. I do have a degree in crime scene investigations and this puxxles me as to why the pond wasn’t emptied. I honestly don’t think that the father had anything to do with the child missing. All the evidence points to Mistuy. I believe that she does know something but she wants some kind of deal to get out of jail before she talks. It’s all in the wording of the agreement. The only reason she is crying to get out of jail is because as soon as she gets out she is going eto run. She has no heart and she only thinks about herself. Her brother is in jail because of her and she don’t even care if he gets out. All she is worried about is her getting out and I think that would be a mistakeout because she will run. I also believe that she had help getting rid of the body. As bad as I hate to say it, I believe Haleigh is dead and I really don’t think that she is that far from that trailer or that party that Misty went to. I watch Nancy Grace all the time to deep updated and it just makes me sick to my stomack to know that someone as young as this baby had to have something happen to her because of a pill head like Misty. I don’t care how many times she says she didn’t sell all the time, she was still caught on camera.She really needs to get the max. The father was wrong too about the pills but I believe that he should have to get some kind of treatment and not do jail time because I don’t believe that he had anything to do with his daughter’s missing.
I would really like to have soem of these questions answered on Nancy Grace but I can never get through to her on her phone line. I enjoy watching her show but someone needs to empty that pond. They just might find some bones in there. I also wouldn’t rule out here family member Joe. He could have been the one to drive the van to get rid of the body. They also need to start putting a lot of pressure on Misty. After a while if they say the right things to her, she will break. They may have to cut her some kind of deal but that is only idf she shows them where the body is.
