What a sicko

Apparently God has been speaking to Pat Robertson again. He’s told him that there’s going to be a terrible terror attack sometime this year….apparently sometime after September. How convenient that He narrowed it down to sometime at the end of the year.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t buy this. I don’t think God is whispering in Pat Robertson’s ear. And I find it bizarre that a supposed Man of God would want to go around freaking people out. After all, you know there are people who are going to actually believe this stuff.

Story follows….tell me what YOU think.

Religious Broadcaster Pat Robertson Predicts Horrific Terrorist Attack on U.S. in 2007

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia — Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson predicted Tuesday a horrific terrorist act on the United States that will result in “mass killing” late in 2007.

“I’m not necessarily saying it’s going to be nuclear,” he said during his news-and-talk television show “The 700 Club” on the Christian Broadcasting Network. “The Lord didn’t say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that.”

Robertson said God told him during a recent prayer retreat that major cities and possibly millions of people will be affected by the attack, which should take place sometime after September.

The rest of the story can be found at Fox News. I started out posting the whole thing, but it’s just too annoying.

Pat does nothing but hurt the Christian cause. I’ve wanted to Super Glue that guys mouth for years.

Raven January 2, 2007 at 9:57 pm

He’s a scare monger. He makes us all look bad. What a freak.

Tammy January 2, 2007 at 9:57 pm

That’s what really bugs me, Stacy…this guy is supposed to be a Christian. But his behavior is about as far that as you can get.

nutjob

Pat Robertson has been freaking nuts for years. Remember when he said he could make a hurricane turn away?
That must have been 10 or more years ago.

Chances are, as soon as the Democrats loosen up security, we will get a terrorist attack, but my goodness – what a jerk!

LindaSoG January 2, 2007 at 10:31 pm

Unfortunately, he will likely be right and then he’ll say I told you so.
What a game he’s playing though.
The Bible says beware of false prophets.

The Bible says beware of false prophets.

Well said!

I fart in his general direction. And in anyone else’s who claims to have predictions for the new year. What a tired cliche!

He is such a sick jerk. You are right he could be right, but if a person says
negative scary things all the time. sooner or later they will be
right about something.
I just pray we won’t be attacked, but if we are it will have nothing
to do with this idiots saying so.

he’s an idiot and as such he should be viewed as an idiot’s spokesman.
