Vacation dreams again….

No, I can’t afford it. But that doesn’t stop me from dreaming of going off on a vacation. Of course, a lot of people would say that I live in a perfect vacation area, and I do. We have beautiful beaches here. I love Casey Key, I love Daytona Beach. But it would be nice to go off somewhere different sometime.

As some of you know, my daughter works part time on an ice cream truck. For the last two summers, she’s gone off on vacation with Jen’s family to Myrtle Beach, SC (much to the envy of her brother and sister). She’s brought home pictures, and it looks gorgeous. And maybe it’s not as hot as it is here in the summer. So, I decided to look at what’s out there in that area. I found a site full of Myrtle Beach vacation deals. I found all kinds of stuff….there’s even a place with water slides! Yeah, my kids are getting older, but they still like water slides. Even I like water slides, lol. And it’s huge….maybe we could go in on it with Ben’s brother and his family. Take a peek here.

Well, it’s out of my reach now….but who knows what might happen by next summer. And hey, dreaming is free. :)
