The killer of Samantha Runnion has been found guilty. This is a good thing. Altho I’m sad that it’s taken so long. Who out there remembers that summer? And the abductions that seemed to happen over and over again. Just like what is happening now. This case was particularly horrifing because Samantha was so YOUNG…how could anybody do such a thing to a five year old?
At least there’s been some kind of justice for Samantha… Alejandro Avila won’t be hurting any other children any time soon. Now for the penalty phase…what is your opinion? Give him life, or take his life…as he took Samantha’s. Tell me what you think.

I remember that incident, how horrible. That’s the night I changed the locks on my doors and started keeping the gun under my pillow at night. Rape is horrible no matter who the victim is, but this case was horrifying and disgusting.

Although i wouldn’t shed a tear if he died, I am opposed to the death penalty. Frankly, I think death is an easy out for these guys. He deserves to be someone’s bitch for the rest of his life in prison.
