The Coral Rose Reward Fund

What wonderful news.

Man adds $10,000 to Coralrose reward

STAFF REPORT

NORTH PORT — A Sarasota businessman will donate $10,000 to the Coralrose Fullwood reward fund Friday.

Phillip Wasserman said he has been following the case since news of the little girl’s death broke in September and that he hopes the money will entice someone to come forward with information about her killing.

“Six years old, for God’s sake,” Wasserman said. “Of course it’s not going to bring her back. But maybe it will stop whoever did it from doing it again.”

The first-grader was found dead near the family’s North Port home on Sept. 17, 2006.

Wasserman’s contribution will bring the total of the reward to more than $18,000.

Anyone with information related to the homicide of Coralrose Fullwood is asked to call North Port police at (941) 428-7336 or Crime Stoppers at (941) 366-8477.

Please, if you know anything at all, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, call the numbers above. This little girl deserves justice. And if you can donate, go to The Gold Star Club(remember to put “Coral Rose” on the memo section of your check, so the money goes to the right place), they’re the organization handling the reward fund. I can’t wait to see their page updated with the contribution from Mr. Wasserman. It’s been sad seeing that number not really change.
