Ever have one of those days? Or in my case, it was a night. Here I was, all happy because the weekend is here, finally! Work has been…ummmm….a bit much lately, and I was really ready for some relaxing time. So, I decide to take a shower to unwind. Unfortunately, I neglected to make sure there was a towel in there…the price you pay having kids, ya know? So, there I stood…ummm….dripping and towel-less. I look around for something that I can even use as a towel, and what do I see? A BEE!!!! I HATE bees. I especially hate them when I’m dripping and towel-less! So, I ran out of the bathroom (luckily, into my bedroom, and even luckier, the door was actually closed for once), found a shirt to dry off with, and ran to get Ben to kill the bee.
Ok, so I survive this trauma. An hour or so later, I was out on the lanai, and heard a weird noise coming from the next street over. So, I decide to walk down to the dock and investigate the noise. I’m almost down there (in my bare feet) when a SNAKE goes slithering by me! A SNAKE! If there’s anything I hate more than bees, it would have to be snakes. And it was slithering along right by my feet! I about had a heart attack! And what made it worse was, Ben was in the den using the computer and saw the whole thing…apparently I looked pretty funny, as I’m pretty sure he was laughing at me.
Some nights I guess you should just stay dirty and safe in bed.

Me thinks you better stay in a bubble this weekend!
Geeze I think you had enough trauma for a while! I had a snake in my kitchen about a month or so ago. We have NO idea how it got in there. Hope the rest of your weekend is much less uneventful!
