Ronald and Misty Cummings~The Today Show
This story just gets weirder and weirder. Yesterday, Ronald Cummings married his 17 year old girlfriend Misty. Is this the time to do that? That’s not for me to decide, I guess they have to follow their hearts and do what they think is right. The one thing that Ronald Cummings said that I totally agree with is this…..the focus needs to get back on to Haleigh. She’s still missing, and SHE is the important one right now. Enough of the feuding and arguing between the different sides of the family…just focus on finding Haleigh.

I’m personally not making any judgements. As I said on my blog “desperate people do desperate things”. Hopefully this is the Cummings way of bringing a positive to the situation. They went to church. Got closer to God and got married. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. Emotions are running rampant right now within that family. I just wish they’d find Haleigh and then get lots and lots of help. They need it.

I just find it very strange that they got married now, since according to Misty, this is what Haleigh wanted. Why not wait for her to return……….unless they know she isn’t coming back. Though, it could be because their relationship has been made public and she is a minor. I still believe there is more to this story than we have heard. A little girl who is afraid of the dark doesn’t walk out the door and into the dark, and I can’t believe that Misty could sleep through someone coming into the bedroom and taking her.

Hmmmm it seems that the bio mother dropped more tears when she found out that Ronald was marrying that babysitter, then when her daughter went missing what is up with that?
It is just strange that they had only been dating for 6 months and Haleigh really wanted them to get married? if so, why not wait for her return?
he proposed to her on her 17th birthday,,,, which means she was 16?? just so young.
I just hope Haleigh is found safe and sound. heartbreaking.
