Remembering Ronald Reagan

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Today marks 2 years since the death of Ronald Reagan, in my opinion one of the greatest presidents ever. As I began to look for a quote to honor him with, I was amazed at the number of them out there. But the quote above, I believe, is something that applies more today than ever before. It’s something that everyone should think about, especially those who say that we’re fighting a war for no reason. The reason we’re fighting is so that we can remain free, us, and our children and grandchildren after us.
