Just random thoughts….
Ever wonder what people are thinking when they come up with a vanity plate? There are some real weird ones out there, and it got me to thinking what the train of thought is. I mean, some of them make sense. My mom used to have on that said ME&JR (and this was while Dallas was popular, lol, so it got some attention). Well, that’s not what she was thinking….JR would be my stepdad. His name is actually Jim, but I guess this was some kind of private joke. After that, she had one that said BOOMER…this was Jim’s nickname for her. So, these make sense. My co-worker is from England, her tag says “UK 4 EVER”. Again, a logical train of thought.
But there are other personalised number plates that are a bit more bizarre. Like this one:
Now, there are days that I wish I had THAT one! Try driving in Southwest Florida this time of year. Life can be rather exciting. :)
Ok, your turn. What’s the weirdest or funniest plate you’ve seen?

Tammy, the JR stood for James Roy – it wasn’t a code name of anything !!!
vanity plates are so silly! the JR in ME&JR stands for James Roy. i never thought about how she had that during the height of ‘Dallas’ hahahahaha. i thought BOOMER was a nickname her coworkers gave her? we’ll have to find out for a fact, because the only nicknames i’ve heard “J.R.” call mom are like, “hound” or “bird dog” or “tuck.” sheesh, that man has come up with some horrible nicknames. “snake” and “turk” for example.
