It’s Friday!
Just hanging around listening to kids talking about food. Baylee is digging through the fridge and the cabinets. She’s “like-starving”. There’s junk galore here. Cheesecake, Lindsay’s birthday cake, Tollhouse Pie (see, Ben goes away and I go on a junk-food marathon, good thing he comes home soon!). Lindsay, on the other hand, has decided that she needs to diet…she’s reading labels and informing me of the calorie content of everything in the house.
Nick has gone off to a YMCA teen-night thing. It’s so quiet without him. When all three kids are here, they fight like crazy. Take one out of the equation, and all is peaceful.
For anyone who missed it yesterday, here’s the link to Ben’s California pictures.
It’s a good thing I decided to repost the link, as it turns out that my web hosting company’s updating servers had eaten the entire file…even though my understanding was that after the 12th, I was good to go with adding things. Live and learn, I guess. At least it didn’t eat any of my posts.
Please let me know if you can hear the music (oh yeah…noise alert….there’s music). Our cats unplugged something (I think) and I can’t get any sound on my ‘puter. Boohoo. Hurry home, Ben! I need you to come plug something in! (Plus I miss you like crazy!).
Also, I bumped up the text size…is it better? It was pretty tiny.
How is everyone’s weekend going? Done shopping? Better yet…done wrapping?!

Your kids must subscribe to the same playbook that mine do. My wife and I try to divide and conquer…not always easy, but SO worth it when we can pull it off. Playdate, anyone?
I like the new text. You’re right: more readable.
Dropped by from Michele’s tonight.
Oh, the ‘snack’ selection sounds wonderful. I ought to diet too, but heck, I’d partake anyway. :)
Here via Michele tonight.
Hi Tammy. What a small world! What school did your husband attend in Laval? I grew up there…actually was born in Montreal, but my parents’ house was in Chomedey. It wouldn’t surprise me if our paths crossed at some point. How cool is that!
Cool pics! I’d love to be in CA right now… actually, any place without snow would be just fine!
I just did my Christmas cards… still have a package to send off to family in Colorado… After that, I’m in good shape!
hi tammy! love the new look! and the font is better too. sadly, could not hear any music.
here via michele today. :)
Greetings from Micheles. You have a nice looking blog. I take it you are in Canada–I haven’t met many right-winged Canadians–I always appreaciated the left-winged Canadians, thinking they kept the rest of the continent from flying in circles. Have a Merry Christmas.
Hi..Here from Michele this A.M. I can hear the musicbut I’m not getting any photo’s…Dang! And I was hoping to see something of my town, cause Hollywood is where I live…90068 to be exact!
Hi! Michele sent me!
I am finished shopping, and am planning on hiring my nieces and nephews to help me with the wrapping! They’re at that age where they LOVE to help Aunt Bhakti! Thank goodness, huh!
I love where you say your daughter says she’s “like-starving”. My junior year of high school English teacher told me that she was never going to speak to me if I didn’t stop saying LIKE in every sentence. What did she expect? The movie Valley Girl came out when I was a Freshman!! Now, I’m an English teacher! Go, like, figure!
That post made me hungry for dessert!!! And I love, love, love your Christmas blog design.
