I’m here

I’ve been suffering a bad case of blog-apathy. Or laziness. I’m not sure which. But I’m here, and thought I should at least pop in.

This past Monday marked the one year anniversary of the murder of Coralrose Fullwood. A year, and still no arrest. But Terry Lewis, chief of police for North Port, assures us that there will be. Still following leads, still looking for the right DNA match. They’re also putting up billboards, and as soon as the North Port one goes up, I’ll get a pic and post it. In the meantime, you can watch Chief Lewis’s press conference here.

There’s been another trial going this week, for the rape and murder of 17 year old Anna Marie Randazzo. The man (and I say that very hesitantly) on trial is 19 year old Joshua Henninger. He was 16 when this happened. I can’t even go into it, it’s that bad. But NBC-2′s Cara Spadida has been live blogging the trial, if you can stomach it (warning, it’s very graphic in places), it’s an interesting read. And makes you VERY happy that Josh Henninger was today found guilty of all charges.

Ok…on a cheer-ier note! There’s a song they’ve been playing a lot on the radio that I really like. Seems that Garth Brooks has found his way out of retirement. :) So, since it’s been awhile since I posted a song (I usually take a bath in bandwidth, lol), I thought I’d share this one.
