Ok, after a nightmare couple of days, I’m back! Did y’all miss me? Did anyone even notice I was gone? LOL :)
My web hostess’s harddrive crashed….and I mean, REALLY crashed. As in, nothing was left. The really strange thing is, the other day, when I upgraded my WordPress to 2.0, I followed the directions…the ones that say, back up your database and templates, etc. I’m terrible, and never back up. But, that one time, I did….and the next day, Becky’s stuff crashed. And I had just about everything saved…how cool is that?! Pictures, music, all that kind of stuff is toast (unless a miracle occurs….)…but I have my posts and comments. I think I lost like 2 days worth…not bad, considering I thought everything was gone…and it is, for a lot of people.
So, hey…go right now, and back up your data base. You never know when you’re going to need it!

My laptop crashed a couple of weeks ago – and all my info about scholarships is gone forever. I have been working diligently on it for over 3 months – and it’s gone!

Find your blog design very cool. Wish could learn to do that. About your database crashing I hope won’t coz when someone I knew tried to open my blog she was shocked that everything was all black, nothing on it. Good she was able to recover.
BTW would like to join Thursday Thirteen. Seems to be fun unfortunately I don’t know how. Tried to log in earlier but I don’t how I’ll manage.
Yikes, that is a very scary thought and probably a good idea to back up at least once a week…unfortunately I never think about it.
Yes, I did notice you were gone, and wondered, but figured life got in the way awhile. Glad you survived and for the most part extremely well!
