Holli Baty~GUILTY!
I’ve been following this case for almost 2 years now, and have gotten to know some of Cheyenne’s family members. I’ve felt the pain that they’ve gone through. I’ve seen how much they loved Cheyenne, and how much they miss her. I am so thankful that Cheyenne has finally received justice. No, it doesn’t bring her back, but at least Holli is going to pay for what she did.
I never thought that Holli set out to kill Cheyenne. However, I strongly believe that she abused her, and this resulted in her death. Instead of accepting responsibility for what she did, Holli (and members of her family) made excuses and tried to hide the truth. But our system worked, and tonight, instead of going home, or out on the town, enjoying life, Holli went to jail. Where I have faith she’ll be for a good long time. Finally, Cheyenne’s father and grandparents can rest easy, knowing, at least, that Holli’s other children will be kept safe from her.
Cheyenne, I’m so sorry that you did not get to grow up. That you didn’t get to go to school, hang out with your friends at the mall, have your first boyfriend…to do all the things that you should have been able to do. But at least the person who hurt you is going to pay.
Rest in peace, Cheyenne, and know that many people love you….even people who never got the pleasure of knowing you.
Thank God this woman is finally getting what she deserves. I hope Cheyenne’s family and friends can now focus on keeping her memory alive and have at least a little peace knowing that monster is behind bars! God Bless All Of You!

I’m so thankful to hear the result of GUILTY!!! I just wish we had video of her ugly face as they read the verdict….Do you know how much time she got? Was it the 25 years? I wish she was in jail for life!! Thanks for helping us, Cheyenne’s extended family in Michigan, keep informed!!
