Holli Baty Sentenced
Finally, Holli Baty will begin to pay the price for taking Cheyenne Eairheart from those who loved her so very much. It’s not enough….I think the sentences should have run consecutively….but, at least it will be a long, long time before she enjoys her freedom again. RIP, Cheyenne. You will always be missed.
Child killer will serve 25 years in prison

Last updated on: 10/31/2008 12:01:57 PMCHARLOTTE COUNTY: One month after a Charlotte County jury found Holli Lyn Baty guilty of killing her boyfriend’s daughter in 2006, she learned her sentence.
Four-year-old Cheyenne Eairheart died in December 2006 of cranial cerebral injury.
Baty was found guilty of third degree felony murder and guilty of aggravated child abuse in her September trial.
She was sentenced to 15 years for the murder charge and 25 years for the aggravated child abuse charge.
Her two sentences will run concurrently.

Finally! I wish the sentences didn’t run concurently.
people only get 15 years for murder?
I think 15 years for murder is not enough but at least she will not hurt another child.
yeah, people get 15 years for murder and 25 for cocaine possesion didn’t ya know….
