Happy Saturday!
Yes, I’m still here. I’ve just been very lazy lately. Work has been insane…I swear, there’s no happy medium. I went through like a month of having almost nothing to do, but for the past three weeks, I’ve been totally buried in work. Like, I can’t even find my desk, it’s so buried in papers! So I’m really enjoying the weekends lately.
A most unusual thing happened today…all three kids have gone to friends houses. There’s no one here but me and Ben, and he’s taking a nap. It is sooooo quiet, I’m lovin’ it.
And how are y’all doing? Make some noise, wouldja? The quiet is starting to scare me!
Hey! I know what you mean by crazy, busy, insane work weeks. I have been utterly exhausted myself the last couple of months since adding in an almost full “work” day running our shop to the crazy, business of all my other “work.” I look soooooo foward to the weekend, too. No “going to the shop” and no homework, bedtime struggles and morning rush insanities.
I am more than jealous of your alone time you got with the kidlets at friends houses.
