The internet can just be so totally cool! The other day, I was checking my email, when I saw a familiar name. I thought, ok, this is weird, that’s my uncle’s name. Well, guess what? The email was from my Uncle George (yes, even at 42, they’ll always be Uncle George and Aunt Cindy to me, some habits really die hard). Turns out my Mom had been up in Canada visiting them this past weekend, and passed on my email address. Now, I’m quite sure I haven’t seen them in at least 10 years…but here he was, in my email box. How cool is that?!
Now, it gets even better. Uncle George and Aunt Cindy had two daughters, Jennifer and Amy. It’s been years and years and YEARS since I’ve seen either of them. But today, I got pictures of their kids in my email! I wrote back and asked for permission to post them, because I’m sure Tracy and Ronnie would love to see them. So, here they are…pictures of babies I haven’t gotten to see yet…and one of those babies is 8 years old…and I think I see the faintest resemblance to my own daughter, Baylee. They surely seem to share some hair, at least!

Ya know…even though I use a pen name…because my pic is up on my page, I have heard from so many people I lost touch with through out the years, since starting my blog. It is really neat what technology has brought back into my life and I’m glad to hear that it is doing the same for you. :)
What an amazing story. This is why technology can be such a wonderful addition to our lives: this simply would not have happened without it.
