“Enough is Enough”

This pathetic young mother has the world right where she wants us…”Oh, look at me, I am the center of everyone’s attention.” With each twisted lie, Casey Anthony drags law enforcement, the media, and the public deeper into her tangled dark secrets. If you are trying to make a statement on Caylee’s behalf by protesting out in front of the Anthony home, please stop and be more considerate of all the other families in their neighborhood. Is it fair that they should have to suffer as well, just because they live near the Anthony’s? They are also “victims” that have been brought into this convoluted mess not by their doing.
I wonder what would happen if the media and the protestors were to say “Enough is enough,” and just walk away from 4937 Hopespring Drive? With thousands of caring human beings leaving comments on the blogs, online newspaper articles, etc., I think a good answer is to take away her instant celebrity-like status and make a louder statement, “Yes, Casey, all we care about is finding your daughter!”
I want to believe that we have the power to come together and redirect our focus, to honor and show more respect for this precious child’s life, as well as all the other missing children across the United States.
Maybe we could help prevent this kind of tragedy from happening again by giving Caylee’s innocent voice a chance to ask,
Ă‚Â
“Mommy, why weren’t there tougher laws and stiffer consequences to protect me when you chose to not report me missing for over 31 days?
And how many months now have I been lost and not found due to your cold-hearted silence? Oh, please help bring me home with your prayers and properly lay my sweet little being to rest.”
There never will be a way to make sense out of all the disturbing, “why’s,” but we can learn so much about love and compassion from one little girl, Caylee Marie Anthony. She sure has touched the hearts of so many strangers with her soul-searching eyes and infectious smile!
