Another cold day in the 802

by Tammy on October 16, 2012

So, after our last cold snap (the first one of the year!), we had about a day and a half of nice weather. Yesterday, I think it actually hit 70 degrees, which is wonderful for Vermont in October. Today, the temperature appears to be falling rapidly. A customer even came into the bank and said she saw snow! Looks like I’m back to playing bingo online again!

Ben’s been off at a Marine reunion in California. He comes home today. I think the cold will be a bit of a shocker to him. Oh well, that’s what you get when you go off to somewhere cold and post pictures of beaches. Payback, right?! Of course, he’s probably jet-lagged and will spend the next few days sleeping. Perfect weather for it!

The sad thing about this weather is that it’s making everyone sick. We have two people out sick today, and I hear a fair amount of coughing here in the library. I make such productive time of my lunch breaks, don’t I? Instead of eating, I’m looking for great bingo promotions and writing in my blog. :) I guess maybe I can go look for a good book to read while I’m here. My poor Kindle suffered a terrible death a few weeks back, so I’m back to reading the old fashion way, at least for a little while. I’m working on the kids to get me a Kindle Fire for Christmas.

Ok, I guess it’s about time to get back to work. Stay warm, everyone!
