The Fred Thompson Grassroots Tour made it into my part of the state today, so of course I took the afternoon off to go see him. I’ve never been to anything like that and wasn’t sure what to expect. Fred gave a great talk, and then spent some time answering questions from the people in the audience. After that he spent some time shaking hands, etc. I tried really hard to push my way through, but never quite made it (really, really close, though!). As always, Ben got some great pictures. He’s posted a few of the pictures in a larger format on his photoblog if you’d like to check them out.
NBC-2 has a short video clip, I think I caught a glimpse of my back (I’m in a pink shirt with brown stripes!), they also have a very short interview with him.

Great pictures of Fred, Tammy. He is good in ‘Law & Order’, and think he would be a fine candidate.
