Help! How do I make it to where people can do trackbacks in this silly thing? I don’t see an option. I know it’s gotta be here, because Beth’s blog is WP and she has trackbacks. Where oh where is it?!

Same problem I’m having, and I’ve got several looking into it. When I find out I will let you know. If you figure it out first, come help me out. Beth has inline trackbacks too…which is really nice. I’d love to have that too.
at the top of the write page, there will be two boxes that enable pings and trackbacks, make sure both of those are checked and then…hold on here, cause this is where it gets ugly…scroll down to the bottom of the page and there is an area where you enter the trackback urls before you hit the publish button (it is under or just above the time stamp, depending on my memory). Now, having done that, pray you have the version of WP that has the trackback patch, because wordpress 1.5 has a programming glitch that makes it incapable of sending a trackback. They have a patch you can load, but I still haven’t been able to get the darn thing to work…so…your stuck doing like I do…the lazy man trackback. The sunny side of the issue is that it is the only downside of Word Press.
